How a travel eSIM works
ComputatusESim keeps you online from the moment you land. An eSIM is a digital SIM card built into your phone, so there is no plastic card to pick up at the airport, swap out or lose. Choose a data plan for the country you are travelling to, install it in a few minutes, and keep your usual number switched on for calls and messages.
Getting connected in four steps
-
Choose your destination and plan
Find the country or region you are travelling to, compare its plans and pick the data and days you need.
-
Pay securely
Payment is handled by Stripe, so your card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by us.
-
Install the eSIM from your phone
Open the activation link on your phone and the iPhone or Android installer starts by itself. Scanning the QR code works too, and we can email it to you.
-
Switch it on when you arrive
Turn on the eSIM line and data roaming for it, and choose it for mobile data. My eSIMs shows how much data is left.
Before you buy, check your phone
Your phone needs to support eSIM and must not be locked to one operator. Most iPhones from the XS and XR on, Google Pixel 3 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and later support eSIM.
